Meet Our Greyhounds Looking for a Home
At Rehoming Retired Greyhounds (Scotland) Ltd, we believe that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding, we’ve been dedicated to making a real difference—finding loving, forever homes for ex-racing greyhounds and giving them the happy retirement they deserve.
Below, you’ll find the wonderful dogs currently looking for their next chapter in life. Each has their own personality, quirks, and charm, and all are ready to meet the special someone who will give them a safe, loving home.
Our Sunday walks are now back and we’d love for you to join us at our new home — Newmains Farmhouse, Reston, TD14 5LN.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet our Greyhounds in person, enjoy a relaxed walk, and chat with fellow supporters over tea and coffee.
Whether you already have a greyhound (even if rehomed from another centre) or just love spending time with these amazing dogs, everyone is welcome!
Luna
Hi, I’m Luna, a 3.5-year-old girl. I’m affectionate and love snuggling into my walker’s legs, especially enjoying gentle petting.
As you can see in my photos, I’m petite and beautiful, with a distinctive long white bib—my picture was even selected for the Instagram logo! But I’m more than just my looks. I’m curious and enjoy walks to explore my surroundings.
I walk nicely on a lead, handle stairs well, I’m not bothered by TV sounds and travel comfortably in the car. My dream is to find a forever home where I can be a loving companion. If you’re interested in meeting me and taking a walk together, I’d be thrilled!

Bentley
Hello, my name is Bentley. I’m a big boy, 4 years old, strong, clever and charming, with black fur.
I have a glorious long tail, and I’ve mastered the art of swinging it in circles like a propeller.
I’m super friendly and like to socialise with my kennel buddy, Kylie. If you think I could be a good fit for your family, please come and visit me—I’d be delighted to meet you!

Teddy
Hi there, my name’s Teddy. I’m 4-years-old, a tall, strong, handsome boy with a lovely black coat.
I’ve been described as a ‘fun boy’ with lots of spark. As a new arrival to the kennels, I’m excited about the new surroundings.
I like investigating unfamiliar smells in the meadow and going for walks. I’m super good on the lead and enjoy travelling in cars.

Kylie
Hello everyone, I’m Kyle. I’m a 2-year-old girl, new to the kennels.
You may have noticed from my photo, I’m what you’d call rather petite for a Greyhound, but don’t let that deceive you; my personality is larger than life! I’m confident, affectionate, and enjoy meeting new people.
I’ve been told I walk like a dream on the lead, so if you’d like to see for yourself, I look forward to meeting you!

Lachlan and Prince
Meet Lachlan and Prince, our senior dogs who were returned to the kennels through no fault of their own.
We describe them as a bonded pair who have been together for many years, and we believe they should be rehomed together.
Prince may need more time to trust, but in capable hands—someone experienced, empathetic, understanding of his needs, and respectful of his space—trust can be built. Sadly, it’s possible Prince has suffered from a lack of love. However, in the kennels, he’s responded well, and both senior dogs are obedient, in good health and dental condition, and both boys eat well.
Lachlan is a very friendly and gentle dog who loves affection and enjoys cuddling into his walker’s legs.
Both he and Prince are clean in their kennel, and one of Lachlan’s favourite activities is taking a bath!
We hope to find someone compassionate enough to provide these handsome boys with a warm, loving home where they can enjoy their golden years as they deserve. Please get in touch if you can help. We are happy to consider a long-term foster arrangement.
